Outrage After Trump Says THIS on Stage… Could This Ruin Him?

I pretty much consider this theater by Trump and I doubt it will ruin him. Donald Trump is all for waterboarding and torture when necessary. On that front, I agree with him. There is a time and a place for such methods. When Cruz was cornered by the media on whether he thought waterboarding was torture, he said no… it does not meet the definition of torture. But he also said that he would only use it when necessary which was the right answer… a presidential answer. So, of course when a woman yells from Trump’s audience that Ted Cruz is a pussy because he doesn’t just advocate using it at every available opportunity, Trump laughs and repeats the slur. He condoned it and I wouldn’t be surprised if that whole thing wasn’t planned. It’s vintage Trump.

From the Daily Mail:

Donald Trump’s final New Hampshire primary rally generated new controversy Monday night when a woman in the crowd called rival Republican candidate Ted Cruz a vulgar name – a ‘p***y’ – and The Donald stopped his event to make sure thousands of people heard the insult.

Trump was recounting a moment during Saturday night’s debate when he disagreed with Cruz, a Texas senator, by advocating for the return of waterboarding to the CIA’s terror-fighting interrogation toolbox.

‘You heard the other night at the debate,’ Trump said, ‘they asked Ted Cruz a serious question: “Well, what do you think about waterboarding? Is it okay?” And honestly I thought he’d say, “Absolutely.”

‘And he didn’t. He said, “Well, it’s …” You know, he’s concerned about the answer, because some people–.’

Stopping abruptly, Trump pointed to a woman in the crowd near his podium at the Verizon Wireless Arena in Manchester.

I am disturbed by the sentiments of some of Trump’s followers. They go beyond anger. He may very well be our next president and if he is, I hope America knows what they are getting. Cruz would bravely fight our enemies, there is no doubt of that. I figure that Trump will negotiate. Maybe I’m wrong, maybe he will be more aggressive than that. I hope so. His rhetoric claims he will be. Cruz’s take: “But when it comes to keeping this country safe, the commander in chief has inherent constitutional authority to keep this country safe,” he said. “And so if it were necessary to prevent a city from, say, facing an imminent terrorist attack, you can rest assured that as commander in chief, I would use whatever enhanced interrogation methods we could to keep this country safe.” Trump’s take: “I’d bring back waterboarding,” he said, “and I’d bring back a hell of a lot worse than waterboarding.” When the theatrics are done and leadership is called for, I wonder if America will be happy with what she has wrought.
