Pranking Scott Walker: “Hello, I’m Really A Koch Brother. I Swear”

Liberals are so very excited about a prank phone call to Scott Walker. A liberal blogger pretended to be one of the Koch Brothers and actually managed to get on the phone with Scott Walker. In all fairness, that is kind of funny. Of course, you’re hearing that from a guy who gets off on pranking spammers and Facebook scammers; so I would think the concept was hilarious.

On the other hand, I’ve heard liberals comparing this to James O’Keefe and Hannah Giles’ “pimp and prostitute” sting of ACORN. Unfortunately for them, O’Keefe and Giles’ “prank” eviscerated ACORN while this doesn’t seem to have drawn much blood from Walker.

At worst, Walker seemed unperturbed about the idea of the fake Koch flying him off to celebrate crushing the unions and he also made an ambiguous comment about bringing in outside disrupters for the protests. He also noted that if he was negotiating with the Dems in the Capitol, it would only be so they could get a quorum for a vote, which isn’t very surprising. Mostly, Walker seemed to just be making polite chit-chat with a supporter that he didn’t know very well. Of course, libs won’t interpret it that way, but what do you expect from the same people who are comparing him to Hitler? A fair reading? Good luck with that.

The most interesting bit of news to come out of this, of course, is what it disproves: The left-wing smear that Walker and the “attack on the unions” was engineered by the Koch brothers. Hell, Walker apparently isn’t even familiar enough with the Koch brothers to know whether he was talking to one of them on the phone or not. So, there goes another liberal theory down the tube.

PS: Anybody do a good Soros imitation and have the White House switchboard number? Why? Oh, no particular reason…

PS #2: Dear Koch brothers. I have learned from liberals you are funding the entire conservative movement. So, where’s my check?
