The Prudishness Of The Left, As Applied To Scott Brown
Written By : William Teach

The Left is so cute when they get their claws into a juicy story that is going to blow the lid off a candidate’s life, especially when it comes to some sort of sex scandal. John Edwards had an affair and got his mistress pregnant while his wife had cancer? Meh. But, Scott Brown appeared in the nude!!!!!!! Stop the presses! He must, somehow, we aren’t quite sure how, be unfit to be a U.S. Senator! Barney Frank had an escort service being run out of his home? Whatever. But, but, Scott Brown’s daughters appeared in public wearing bikinis! BIKINIS! Oh, the humanity! And Scott was in the picture with them! Someone actually *gasp* unearthed this picture!

Shocking, simply shocking! This makes that smoking pot thing by Obama look like a jay walking ticket!

And, did you know that Brown’s wife appeared in a music video back in 1982? How dare she! (for those young folks out there, there was a time where the music TV channels actually played music videos)

And we all remember this video, Digney Fignus’ “Girl with a Curious Hand”, right? No? Heck, I watched MTV non-stop during much of the 80′s while growing up, and I cannot remember it at all. But, that doesn’t matter, because

Digney Fignus’ “Girl with a Curious Hand” proves hastily-elected political upstarts are the only kind of politician worth having, in terms of embarrassing internet detritus. (If you care about effective governance, meh.) Before she was a Boston news anchor (and now a senator’s wife) Gail Huff was the pouty, tousled-hair video girl who romps in the ocean, sheds her bikini top, and creates sexual innuendo by squeezing a tube of sunscreen, making it squirt all over the place.

I’m convinced. Scott Brown is not qualified to be a U.S. Senator. Next thing you know, we’ll find out that he had sex. With his wife!

Could anyone imagine the outrage and indignation from the left if the situation were reversed and the republicans were trying to make some political point out of this?

They aren’t being prudish, they are just trying to shock the idiot caricature they’ve invented of the right in their heads. Wait til we run this picture, ma and pa kettle will blow a gasket! The Republicans will suffer! They really do think the right is so prudish and idiotic that girls in bikinis will shock us.

This surge by the Republicans will not last.
President Obama has been in office for one year.
The economy has been in a mess since 2007 with signs of the trouble long before that.
This mess all started with greed and the Republican way of self interest.
We are in such a hole that it may take years to get to full recovery.
It will not happen in one or two years.
Stop blaming the Dems for the economic mess.
    Yes, things are bad.
Yes, people are still losing their homes and jobs.
    Yes, there is fear.
What people need to do is to stop voting out of fear.
    Vote with your heads.
Remember what political party put us in this mess.
    It was the Republican Party.
Scott Brown will not change things.
He may help to get in the way of Health Care Reform and a few other things because the Democrats now have less than 60 seats in the Senate.
Health Care Reform is a great thing as it would give the people the power of choice.
If there is no Health Care Reform, then health care continues to be the crime it has been for years.
With Republicans, it will be the same old greed you saw before Obama.
    This will take time.
    Hang in there.
Remember what this country was like after George Bush, Sr. left office.
    Reminds me of now.
It took a Democrat to fix it all and it took time.
Under Bill Clinton, we had economic BOOM.
Yes, the Republicans were in control of Congress during most of Clinton’s years, but they made things hard for him and did not go along with what it took to get America back on track.
So the credit for that goes to President Clinton and the Democrats.
Don’t let the Republican Party get in the way again.

Anyone want to place odds that GVH’s little screed is being posted across the blogosphere? It has all the markings of spam: a series of assertions with no relation to the topic at hand or supporting evidence logic or reasoning that would only garner agreement from those already in agreement.

But thanks to Mr. Hill for his comments. I can now recognize his monicker for the scroll-bait it is.
