Sarah Palin HAMMERS Obama and the Mainstream Media: They’re “Assclowns” at “Nerdprom”

The White House correspondents dinners is one of the most ridiculous spectacles in DC. Essentially, it’s a bunch of politicians making obnoxious jokes for the “celebrity” journalists who yuk it up in the audience.

It’s always a profoundly silly event because it either features Republican politicians making asses of themselves for journalists who will hate them no matter what they do or Democrats performing for reporters who are already slavishly devoted to them.

Either way, it’s a frivolous, undignified, silly event which might not be so bad except that DC already UNINTENTIONALLY seems to behave that way far too often as it is.

I’ve been saying for years that Republican administrations should stop attending this farce of an event and at least one big name conservative is willing to go even further.

That wasn’t all she said either. Sarah Palin added this on her Facebook page.

Yuk it up media and pols. While America is buried in taxes and a fight for our rights, the permanent political class in DC dresses up and has a prom to make fun of themselves. No need for that, we get the real joke.

When we get a competent administration that starts dealing with America’s serious problems and the press corps liberals actually do their job instead of acting as flacks for the Democrats, then maybe they can have another “nerd prom.” Until then, they should start working on behalf of the American people instead of coming up with bad jokes to amuse each other.
