3 Dead, 20+ Injured When Dodge Charger SMASHES Through ‘Anti-Fascist’ Protesters [VIDEO]

In a tragic turn of events, at a planned white supremacist parade in Charlottesville, VA, today, three people were killed and more than 20 were injured when the driver of a silver muscle car appeared to intentionally drive into a crowd of protesters at an estimated 40 miles per hour, even backing up and doing it again. No words are too strong to condemn these horrific murderous actions.

One eyewitness stated, “Yeah, it was intentional. About 40 miles an hour, hit about 15-20 people, crashed into the two cars in front of it, and then backed up and sped away while cops were standing on the side of the road and didn’t do anything.”

And another witness said, “There was someone in a dark vehicle that sped, very quickly, down this road and rammed into the crowd. He backed up and he went back in again. There was a girl that was caught and she was trying to get up and it ran over her again. I hope the cops catch these terrorists.”

The alleged perpetrator has been taken into custody and is believed to be James Alex Fields, 20, of Ohio. He is said to have been booked on suspicion of second-degree murder, malicious wounding, failure to stop for an accident involving a death and hit and run. He is being held without bail.

Americans of every walk of life and of every race, color and creed are universally condemning the actions of this killer. There is simply no place in our culture for those who do not value life. All life is precious. Everyone matters.

The First Amendment to the US Constitution guarantees all Americans the right to speak freely and to protest peacefully. And that will also mean that some very unsavory groups will be getting permits to have parades and marches and demonstrations. As Americans, we don’t have to like what every group stands for and says, but we do need to stand up for their right to say it without fear of punishment. Because the minute we think we are able to deny someone else’s free speech, it will be our free speech on the line next time.

However, the right to speak freely does not include the right to commit violence and vandalism. Any group or individual committing crimes against persons or property in the name of “protest” must be dealt with severely to the fullest extent of the law.

Additionally, expressing personal bigotry, though protected by our free speech laws as it must be if we are to remain a free nation, is still an egregious and filthy moral and ethical violation of common decency and demonstrates zero respect for others. Any kind of group that is preaching the supremacy of one color or one race, is wrong and is morally bankrupt. And those supremacist groups should be rejected by all reasonable Americans. That applies to ALL supremacist groups of every persuasion and from every neighborhood. All people are equally valuable and important.

President Trump made a statement saying, “We are closely following the terrible events unfolding in Charlottesville, Virginia. We condemn in the strongest possible terms this egregious display of hatred, bigotry and violence on many sides, on many sides. It has been going on for a long time in our country — not Donald Trump, not Barack Obama. It has been going on for a long, long time. It has no place in America.”

Indeed Mr. President, it has no place in the land of the free and the home of the brave. As Americans, let us take back our culture from those who hate and unite in our common rejection of race based division and ideas of supremacy, wherever and whoever they are coming from. We are all one race, the human race. And our loved ones, lives and livelihoods are too precious and important to allow these poisonous supremacist beliefs to infiltrate or destroy them. We are Americans. And Americans don’t let hate win.
