Homeless Man Comes Forward With SHOCKING Confession On Manchester Bombing! [VIDEO]

As news of the Manchester attack continues to unfurl, we’ve been seeing stories that showcase both the best and worst of humanity. While it was obviously an act of pure evil for a terrorist to bomb an arena filled with children, it also showed the goodness that is still there in the world. And sometimes, that goodness comes from unexpected places.

Two homeless men are being lauded as heroes after their quick response to the bombing. Stephen Jones, 35, and Chris Parker, 33, were near the arena during the concert and both witnessed the bombing. Parker reported seeing a “flash of light” and instead of running away, both men chose instead to stay in the arena and help the many people who were wounded.

Jones said that he stayed with a woman who was seriously injured, holding her legs up until paramedics arrived to keep her from bleeding out. It was just “instinct,” he said. Parker recounted how he held a woman as she was dying, comforting her in her last moments.

The two were not spared the horrors of the scene, either. Jones recounted pulling nails out of children’s arms and faces, something that would cause plenty of people to run away. But Jones doesn’t think there should be any surprise over his actions. “Just because I’m homeless, it doesn’t mean that I haven’t got a heart, and I’m not human still,” he said.

People still responded to their stories, though. “That got this grown man crying,” a Facebook commenter wrote. “It’s often those with the least to give that give the most.” Fundraising pages were also started for both men, with thousands of dollars raised in just days from people wanting to show their gratitude. But for Jones, he was just doing what needed to be done.

“It had to be done,” he said. “If I didn’t help, I wouldn’t be able to live with myself for walking away and leaving kids like that.”
