A long long time ago, I recall reading a feminist somewhere on the Web write that going on a date with a girl (and paying) didn’t entitle a man to sex, or even to a kiss goodnight. Well ladies, the flip side of that truth is that getting banged stupid by a guy doesn’t entitle you to marriage (or any kind of relationship). It doesn’t even entitle you to a phone call back the next day. Gender parity is a b*tch, b*tches. — Ferdinand Bardamu[1]

In the face of financial ruin of the nation, it was unconscionable to pass a new health entitlement that almost all Americans know will add trillions to the debt. Next year, as Mr. Obama almost certainly will call for a new value-added tax to do the “responsible thing” to reduce the deficits he and Congress have created, it will be equally unconscionable to support such a tax. The only solution to the debt and deficit that will not kill economic growth is to cut spending, not raise taxes. We cannot afford to elect Republicans or Democrats who would be “responsible,” and raise taxes. — Tony Blankley[2]

I’m not interested in an escape hatch. I came here to govern, not to escape. — Chris Christie[3]

If I could issue hunting permits, I would officially declare today opening day for liberals. The season would extend through November 2 and have no limits on how many taken as we desperately need to “thin” the herd. — Brad Goering[4]

If you don’t condemn Hamas, obviously you support it. Case closed. I have had this experience at UC Santa Barbara, where there were 50 members of the Muslim Students Association sitting right in the rows there. And throughout my hour talk I kept asking them, will you condemn Hizbollah and Hamas. And none of them would. And then when the question period came, the president of the Muslim Students Association was the first person to ask a question. And I said, ‘Before you start, will you condemn Hizbollah?’ And he said, ‘Well, that question is too complicated for a yes or no answer.’ So I said, ‘Okay, I’ll put it to you this way. I am a Jew. The head of Hizbollah has said that he hopes that we will gather in Israel so he doesn’t have to hunt us down globally. For or Against it? MSA member: For it. — David Horowitz[5]

Limbaugh can play with himself. — Barrack Obama[6] on an offer to play golf with Rush Limbaugh

They expected us to welcome the change. Come November we’re going to show them just how grateful we are. — Sarah Palin[7]

The U.S. did not implement the policies that have caused Spain’s debt issue and the U.S. taxpayer should not be put at risk to bail them out. — Mike Pence[8]

A defining characteristic of the Left is its inability to identify – and therefore confront – evil. — Dennis Prager[9]

Lastly, a point about the freedom of speech and being “offensive,” sadly not mentioned nearly enough by others: Everyone living in a democracy is expected to be able and willing to deal with criticism and, yes, even mockery. The freedom of speech means you also have the freedom to “offend.” Once you outlaw being “offensive” to this or that person or group, you are actually outlawing free speech. After all, no matter what you say, you can be darn sure somebody will be offended. If you can’t deal with this, perhaps you should move to one of the many backwards countries in the Middle East, such as Saudi Arabia or Iran, where those who dare criticize you and your views are simply hanged or at the very least imprisoned and brutally tortured until they have lost the will to live altogether. — Michael Van Der Galien[10]
