Armed Nebraska Woman Holds Burglar in Her Closet Until Cops Arrive
The Second Amendment isn’t just for hunting. It’s also so good people like Barb Haley can be secure in their homes:
She walked through the house and felt like something wasn’t right.
“I’m starting to say, ‘OK, someone’s been in here,’” said Haley.
She didn’t find anyone, so she went to go back to bed.
“As soon as I got back into my room, there was a huge crash,” she said. Haley went with gun in hand to go see what was happening.
Her dog, Dozer, sniffed out of the suspect, who was hiding in a bedroom closet.
“Came back out, went into the room and there are two hands sticking out of my closet,” Haley said.
Police say Jody Kudlacz, 24, was hiding in the closet.
“I turned and look at the closet, and I said, ‘Don’t move! I’ll blow your f-ing head off,’” she recalled. Haley immediately called 911.
At the end of the night, Haley went to sleep, safe in her own home and the would-be burglar got a free ride in a police car.
How does this end if America’s gun grabbers get their way?
