Babysitter Rapes and Impregnates 12 Year Old Girl, Then Rapes Her Again The Day She Has Abortion

Jason Johnson, 30, was accused of raping and impregnating a 12 year old girl he was babysitting in 2012. The day she aborted their child, he raped her for the third and final time.

In September 2012, a babysitter repeatedly raped a 12-year-old girl and then raped her again the same day she aborted their child. The perpetrator, Jason Johnson, was charged with two counts of rape and one of sex with an underage girl by the Kingston Crown Court. For each rape, he was sentenced to nine years in prison and six years for the third count. Also, Johnson will never be able to work with children again because of his sexual offences.

The 30-year-old raped the schoolgirl after she drank an entire bottle of vodka because of an argument she had with her mother. The prosecutor, Gareth Munday, told the court that the girl had drunk so much she was drifting in and out of consciousness when he raped her the first time. He said, “She attempted to close her legs and she recalls him putting his knees between her legs to stop her. She said ‘no’ again and he said ‘it’s fine.” While she was being raped, her two younger brothers were sleeping in the next room.

A few weeks later, Johnson raped her for the third time, which was the same day she had the abortion. The girl was told she may not be able to have a child in the future. Judge Susan Tapping, who sentenced him, said, “You abused the trust placed in you by the girl’s mother by raping her while she was under the influence of alcohol. (On the day she had her abortion) you told her it was her fault and quite unbelievably had sex with her again. That demonstrates how utterly selfish and manipulative you are in your behaviour.”

Munday said when she told him she might he pregnant, he ‘blocked her out’ before trying to tell her what to say if police found out. He concluded, “Having terminated the baby, on that day they had sex again. She explained how painful it was and said she couldn’t continue. He said it was all her fault.”

The defense, led by Anthony Wilcken, said even though Johnson was convicted in 2008 for arson and theft, he had no record of sexual offences. When Johnson was questioned by police, he denied the allegations; and it took nearly a year before the girl cooperated with officers and he was charged. However, before the trial began he pled guilty.

My heart goes out to the child who has had her life absolutely destroyed by this monster. She shouldn’t have ingested an entire bottle of vodka to deal with an argument, and she’s lucky that such a large amount of alcohol didn’t kill her, but he should have known better than to take advantage of a child. This whole situation is simply unfortunate.
