Due to the fact that Ryan has reneged on his pledge to support the GOP nominee, there is a rumbling that strongly suggests he should be removed as the chairperson of the Republican National Convention…this is what some people are saying.

Rev Dean Paul Ryan’s position as Chair of the Convention should be neutral. Instead, his refusal to endorse his party’s sole (presumptive) candidate is inducing negative headlines and reports about the GOP, is provoking disunity, and is detracting from the GOP’s chances to win the POTUS election. Ryan is a destructive influence in his party and across the entire electorate, and should be severely chastised by the GOP leadership. He should also be called to account for his actions the next time his own seat is up for election.
