Chick-Fil-A Employee Stands Up In Restaurant, Opens His Mouth & Stuns Customer Into Silence

From a fast food chain whose customer service is second to none and whose food is mouth wateringly delicious, comes THIS! If you go to Chick Fil A with any regularity, you know to expect the best. And this Veteran’s Day was no exception. How would you have reacted to this unexpected event?

There are moments in 21st century America when the threads that bind together this fractious nation seem frayed and worn, ready to snap amid the self-centered whining of groups that see no further than their own demands.

Then there are moments like the one that took place on Veterans Day in a Chick-fil-A in Kansas City, Missouri, when cherished words send a chill down the back of the neck and America’s glow seems once again fresh and eternal.

As part of this Chick-fil-A’s tribute to the men and women who served America, employee Dontarius Young was scheduled to sing for veterans and all the customers who came in during the lunch hour.

Sing he did. Fortunately, Frances West videoed his performance. Since Veterans Day, millions of Americans have seen and heard his performance of Lee Greenwood’s “God Bless the U.S.A.” and are the richer for it.

“Made me cry. God bless the U.S.A and God bless your voice sir!” commented Kathy George-Mallis.

“Beautiful!! God Bless the servicemen and women past and present #USA,” Jus Maegon wrote.

“I already love Chick Fil A but would love to thank him for singing this,” Michael Latimore Jr. added.

Young responded to his newfound celebrity with humility. He shared this post when his video topped 1 million views.

“Wow! I am truly overwhelmed! I have always been very patriotic and have always loved to sing! The fact that God’s favor is being shown to me and in such an apparent way, literally leaves me speechless! 1,000,000 views!” he wrote.

“Thank you all so much! I’m so excited to see what is in store and I am very grateful to have been blessed with so many beautiful and loving people in my life! It’s only up from here, I still believe!!!

May God bless this young man, all of our veterans and this Chick Fil A owner for knowing what’s important. We honor our men and women of the armed services and know that we are a blessed nation.
