Duck Dynasty Family Just Suffered A Devastating Loss, He Lost His Battle With Cancer

Please pray for the Duck Dynasty family, they are mourning over a family members loss to cancer. If you’ve ever watched Duck Dynasty, you already know that they’re a large close-knit family. When any member needs support you will see them draw closely together in support. The way they handled his passing was just heartwarming…

Many of them live very closely together in a cul-de-sac that is called “Robertson Row”. “Out of eight homes on our little street,” Missy had written on her blog, “the four Robertson brothers live in four of them. The other four are filled with either extended family or good friends.”

One of those homes is where Korie Robertson’s parents, Chris and John Howard live. As you already know, Korie is married to the CEO of Duck Commander, Willie Robertson. Because they’re such an integral part of the family, John and Chrys have appeared in many Duck Dynasty episodes.

Willie and Korie first met at a summer camp, Camp Ch-To-Ca where Chrys was the camp director. Recently Chrys posted on Instagram asking for prayers just after a family member passed.

She captioned the photo: “This past week one of my cousins lost his battle with cancer and gained his heavenly reward.”

She spoke about how she was listening to a sermon with her cousin on his computer when he took his final breaths. She then gives us all a little sweet sermon in her Instagram post: “Let’s all just slow it down a bit and write down what we’ve learned about God. Then tell someone else. Thank you, Glenn Durham, for fearlessly doing that your whole life.”

Please send Chrys and John, and the whole Robertson crew our thoughts and prayers.

Monday Hug: This past week one of my cousins lost his battle with cancer and gained his heavenly reward. He was a devoted servant of God who spend his adult years preaching the gospel. His sister shared that on his death bed while listening to a sermon on the computer he, with eyes closed, gently motioned for a pen. With pen in hand, he slowly moved it around as if he were taking notes. You see, up until he took his last breathe, he was learning about God and thinking of sharing that knowledge with others. What a precious example for all of us. Let's all just slow it down a bit and write down what we've learned about God. Then tell someone else. Thank you, Glenn Durham, for fearlessly doing that your whole life. Hugs, Chrys (2-mama) photo cred to his son @bwdurham @a.mom.thing
