Gotta love when a mediocre sack-magnet gets put in their place by one of the greatest athletes to ever exist. What makes it even better is that everything to come out of this icon’s mouth is pure patriotism and common sense.

Former 49er Jerry Rice has an indisputable reputation as one of the best to ever play the game. The son of a bricklayer, it’s rumored that he initially began to play football as part of a deal with his principal to avoid punishment for cutting class.

Despite being initially passed over because he was “small and slow,” he quickly grew into his career and a recent “top ten” list ranked him the #1 NFL wide receiver of all time.

As a legend in the NFL community, Rice still commands an audience on social media — an audience that reacted strongly when he charged into the controversy stirred up over the weekend by fellow 49er Colin Kaepernick.

Gotta love how classy they are, right? What’s funny is Rice is RIGHT here, and they’re just shoving their fingers in their ears and sticking out their tongues because it’s easier to claim victim status than it is to actually do something productive with their time.
