Greta’s Husband Breaks Silence, Drops TRUTH BOMB Right After She Quits

So many familiar faces are leaving Fox News network and it’s ushering in a sense of loss for many viewers. Especially viewers of Greta Van Susteren.

There has been a pattern at Fox, an anchor quietly leaves the network…and shortly after, lawsuits comes pounding their way back in. Will that be the case for Greta?

First to go was Gretchen Carlson and just yesterday news dropped that she will be getting $20 million from Fox.

Are you happy for her?

Then there is Andrea Tantaros, who left quietly, shortly after Gretchen. She filed a sexual harassment lawsuit against Roger Ailes AND Fox… to the tune of $50 million.

Are you wishing her luck?

Now, we have Greta who has been with Fox News network for a good run of 14 years and most of that time with Fox she was hosting her own show on Primetime – “On The Record”. Now she’s left.

However, there is one fairly huge difference between the way she left and the way the other two anchors left Fox News.

She announced it, explained it and took time to give thanks, and say her farewells to viewers, her co-workers and others she worked with. The woman was very open about her move, in a Facebook post she issued to the public.

“Yes, I have left the Fox News Channel.

Last Thursday night, I made my decision and informed Fox News of my decision at that time that I was leaving Fox News Channel per my contract.

Fox has not felt like home to me for a few years and I took advantage of the clause in my contract which allows me to leave now. The clause had a time limitation, meaning I could not wait.

I love my staff, I love my colleagues, and I love the crews. That is the hardest part of this decision as they are wonderful people.

And most of all? I love the viewers — even the ones who have gotten mad at me over the years and taken swipes. 🙂

I hope to continue my career in broadcasting.”

Now, the question on some minds is… will there be a lawsuit to follow?

Greta isn’t saying much on it, but her husband? He seems to be more of a talker…

The Times also reported that litigation may be in the works for the Fox News icon: Ms. Van Susteren’s husband, John P. Coale, said in a phone interview on Tuesday that his wife exercised what is known as “key man clause’’ on Friday, which allowed her to leave if Mr. Ailes was not in control. He said, “There’s so much chaos, it’s very hard to work there.” He said the timing of her departure with the announcement of the settlement with Ms. Carlson was a “coincidence.” Asked about why she had exercised the key man clause, he said, “There’s more than meets the eye” and that there “might be litigation in the future” so he did not want to talk further.

I have a feeling it’s going to get messier for Fox News before it gets any better…
