Holiday spirit is in the air, and one man took selflessness to a whole different level. Six year old Lily LaRue was diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor, and spent more time in the hospital than at school. For her homecoming, Craig Tkaczenko, who owns a Christmas decorating company, decked out her home in full Christmas gear.[1]
From Rare[2]:
Six-year-old Lily LaRue Anderson was diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor. While she has outlived her expectations, she has spent more time in the hospital than at school.
That’s where neighbor Craig Tkaczenko steps in.
Tkaczenko, who owns a Christmas decorating company, volunteered to decorate the home with lights and Christmas decorations for Lily’s homecoming.
“Last week, a ceremony was held at Lily’s residence, and the entire community came out to watch her light her home,” The Huffington Post writes.
“This most perfect light and moment … Thank you,” Lily’s father wrote on Facebook of the event.
This very special little girl deserves all the best, and a decorated house is a good place to start. She will be in our thoughts and prayers this Christmas season.
