Madison Co. Board of Supervisors condemns Mississippi Democrat Kenneth Stokes ‘ comments for inciting insurrection against police

Clarion Ledger reports the Madison County Board of Supervisors released a statement Wednesday condemning recent comments by a Jackson councilman that his constituents should throw things at police.

On Sunday, Stokes held a press conference to address his comments, and said that the issue of police pursuits into Jackson by outside agencies is one of race, setting off even more of a firestorm between law enforcement supporters and Stokes supporters.
