Feminists are adamant about the “right to choose” when it comes to terminating a pregnancy, saying it’s just a blob of tissue. They’re even more cavalier when it comes to very young embryos, casually handing out the Plan B morning-after pill to any woman who wants them like candy. So when a father decides to terminate a fetus within days after it is conceived, what happens to him?

The Daily Mail reports,

A popular restaurateur with establishments in Los Angeles and Miami is expected to be sentenced to nine years in prison for allegedly killing his unborn child.

Josh Woodward was arrested in October 2009 after a woman he was having a relationship with lost the child she was carrying after just 13 weeks and noticed a white powder in her underwear.

She told police that she recalled Woodward dipping his finger into a bag before touching her sexually during a previous encounter, and said that hours later she lost the fetus.

A test of the substance found that it was misoprostol, a drug used to induce labor and terminate pregnancies.

When police arrested Woodward outside of the woman’s house a few days later, he had the substance on him in his pocket and was caught trying to discard the bag.

Woodward was apparently cheating on his girlfriend at the time with a mistress, the woman who lost the child. He ultimately married his girlfriend and they now have a child together. Considering over a million women in America abort their babies every year with no consequences, is this fair? As Dr. Alveda King, Martin Luther King, Jr.’s niece says, “A woman has a right to do what she wants with her body. But the baby’s not her body!” While what Woodward did was wrong, why is he forced to pay criminally when millions of women aren’t?
