Non-citizen immigrant bank robber living in Boston cuts throats of his ex-employers

Man from West Africa burst into engaged doctors apartment and slaughtered them in a bloddy ‘revenge’ act. Reports say that the walls were covered with blood and messages of retribution. Should this man be deported for these crimes?

Bampumim Teixeira, 30, is accused of killing two doctors in their Boston apartment. He was a former security guard in the $1.9 million luxury apartment complex. He had tied up the engaged doctors then slit their throats and robbed them.

Dr Richard Field, 49, from Hammersmith in London, and Dr Lina Bolanos, 38 were brutally murdered after Teixeira, who is originally from West Africa, burst into their luxury penthouse on a Friday night. Doctor Field was terrified but managed to send a text to a friend saying ‘a gunman in the house,’ and that friend called 911. The couple were already dead by the time the police arrived. The police found the doctors with their hands bound, blood and messages of retribution on the walls and photos of the two doctors in the apartment were cut up. Teixeira was shot in the hand, abdomen and leg during a shootout with police.

Teixeira was originally from West Africa and had previously been convicted of two counts of larceny, for passing notes demanding money from the same bank in 2014 and 2016. Teixeira’s ex-girlfriend admitted that he had confessed to her he ‘did not have long to live’ and that ‘I [he] is not a good person’ during the last conversation they had before the murders. Currently his immigration status is unclear, although his arrest warrant issued in 2016 for armed robbery is stamped with ‘alien warning given.’ He has been charged with two counts of murder and was arraigned by a judge while he laid in his hospital bed. He entered two not-guilty pleas from his hospital bed at Tufts Medical Center Monday afternoon.
