When One Kid Cuts the Line at the Airport, His Coach Makes Him Apologize to the Whole Plane [Watch]
Now this is how you discipline without spanking. When a lacrosse player skipped the line at Southwest Airlines, his coach taught him a lesson in humility that he isn’t likely to forget any time soon.
At the beginning, the kid seems to play off the impending punishment by saying “it must be my birthday,” but when the time comes to make his apology, it’s like a cockroach under a spotlight. You can hear the passengers giggling in the background as the young man recites an eloquent speech that was written for him, presumably by one of his coaches.
The only unfortunate thing here is that this young man doesn’t seem at all fazed by his own self-serving behavior. His apology doesn’t seem to be heart-felt and even had to be written for him. On the other hand, I’m sure he’ll remember this experience for the rest of his life.
