Partner at New York Law Firm Stabs Wife in Face, Attacks 3 Children… Then THIS Happens

Powerful lawyer VICIOUSLY attacked his wife and his three children. This story is truly perplexing and heartbreaking…

NY stabbed family

Christopher Andrews, 51, a partner at Manhattan firm Andrews and Andrews, was gunned down on at 6am on Tuesday morning armed with a knife after he ignored orders from officers to stop walking towards them.

During the attack, he first struck his wife, Kathleen, in their Fairfield, Connecticut, home, inflicting severe stab and blunt force wounds in the face, reports suggested.

He then struck his 12-year-old son in the face and attacked his 13-year-old daughter.

Andrews tried to hit his 15-year-old son with a baseball bat, but the teenage boy managed to wrestle it out of his hands before he did anymore damage.

When police arrived at the home Andrew’s family were found scattered around the $700,000 property, with a range of injuries, the Connecticut Post reported.

They shot Andrews as he advanced towards them and refused to drop the blade.

Kathleen was listed in critical condition at Bridgeport Hospital. The youngest son was flown to Yale-New Haven Hospital with critical injuries. The two other children were taken to St. Vincent’s Medical Center in Bridgeport.

The officer involved in the shooting was also taken to a hospital as a precaution.

As news of the shooting surfaced, members of the community tried to process what had happened, as they believed they were a ‘nice family’ who were respected in the community.

Shari Nerreau, who lived near the family told the Connecticut Post: ‘They were really good friends with a whole group of other neighbors; they spent a lot of time together.

‘It was just a really nice family, really nice guy and it’s all very confusing.

‘We tried to process it and make sense of it … I’m sure that information will come out, and I think right now we’re just praying for the family, whose members are still, you know, they’re still not in great shap.’

Steve Bogan, a family friend, told WFSB: ‘It’s unbelievable, hard to believe. It’s impossible to believe.

‘They’re very nice people, kids are great. I was just with him a couple of days ago and they were as happy as could be.’

Neighbor Jeff Vogt told the Hartford Courant he heard yelling and five to six shots fired.

He revealed that the children ran a lemonade stand on the block in summers

‘It’s awful, just awful,’ Vogt said. ‘They were the quietest, nicest neighbors.’

Andrews worked in a law firm on Lexington Avenue in New York. His brother Michael Rourke Andrews is believed to have died on 9/11.

He grew up in Rockaway, Queens, and graduated from St John’s University in 1992.

Police are looking into the case as ‘domestic violence’ but are still trying to figure out the motive behind the attack.

Reports suggested there were no firearms found inside the house. There was no history of violence in the family.

I feel for these children and mom who suffered such a gruesome attack at the hands of their own father and husband. Luckily the 15-yr-old was able to stand up and protect his family. Please pray for the Andrews family!
