Restaurant Owners Forced to the Ground by Armed Robbers— Then Out of Nowhere, the Tables Turn

A pair of would-be thieves looking for an easy mark got more than they bargained for when they attempted to rob a Houston Restaurant. A patron in the restaurant was finishing his meal, and was having one of this criminal activity on his watch:

A pair of armed robbery suspects reportedly entered a Houston restaurant as the owner was preparing to close for the night on Saturday. The men went after Koy Sam, the owner of the restaurant, and his wife, forcing them to the ground.

“All of a sudden my wife ran back panicking,” Sam told KHOU-TV of the moment the men entered the restaurant with guns drawn.

As one of the robbery suspects went for the register, a customer still finishing up his meal in the restaurant turned the tables in the huge way. He got up out of his seat, pulled his own firearm and bravely confronted the suspects, KHOU-TV reports.

The armed good Samaritan reportedly opened fire at one of the suspects when he attempted to run, striking glass windows. He was able to hold the other man at gunpoint until police arrived.

It wasn’t immediately clear if he hit the fleeing suspect, who remained at large as of Tuesday. But he left the restaurant empty-handed.

Sam praised the armed customer for his “amazing” act, saying he kept everyone in the restaurant calm and “made sure everything was OK.”

We need more brave people like this in the world. Criminals, be warned: the citizens of the USA are not lying complacent anymore. We are utilizing our rights and arming ourselves. There are more and more of us every day. We will not sit idly by and allow crime to happen to us or around us. Think twice about the crime you are trying to commit- will it be worth your life?
