Sports Analyst Goes All the Way Pro-Trump After UCLA Player’s Father Calls Out the President [VIDEO]

This is the last thing that I’d ever thought I would say, but someone at ESPN actually supported Trump. I know, catch your breath.

Shannon Sharpe actually sided with the President over LaVar Ball, who has recently lashed out at Trump after he did what he could to (successfully) bring his son back from China. Ball’s son was accused of shoplifting from a Louis Vuitton store in the foreign country and it looked like he was headed to prison for quite some time. Even liberals are saying that we need to give the President his due in this case and Sharpe is no different.

This is nothing short of miraculous.

“Even though I don’t agree with everything President Trump has said or done, and you might disagree with what he has or what he hasn’t done yourself, but to say he played no role in this would be disingenuous,” he stated bluntly on his show, “Undisputed.”

Anyone who knows Sharpe or watches his show knows that he is not shy about voicing his criticism for the President, so he must really think that Ball is in the wrong here if he is coming to bat for someone he doesn’t even like.

“That was the dumbest thing he ever could have said,” Sharpe continued, mentioning Ball’s comments questioning whether Trump actually had anything to do with his son’s release.

“I can assure you that President Trump mentioning (it) to the Chinese president didn’t hurt his situation,” he said.

But it wasn’t just Ball he criticized here. Sharpe also went after his “kleptomaniac son” who was responsible for landing himself in hot water in the first place.

“If your son would have kept his sticky a** fingers in his pockets and not take people’s stuff in China, we wouldn’t even be having this conversation. So, you talk about ‘who?’ — your kleptomaniac son is who!” Sharpe said emphatically.

“I don’t think it should be debated,” he concluded, wanting to shut down any argument that is based on questioning Trump’s role in the boy’s release.

This is not something I ever expected to hear from someone like Sharpe, but it just goes to show that even the more liberal among us can credit Trump for doing what is right. The fact that Ball is continuing his campaign of hatred against the President isn’t supported by either side, except perhaps by those who refuse to believe that Trump can do anything good.
