STAND UP FOR CHRISTMAS! Ben Stein: ‘I Am A Jew,I Don’t Mind Saying Merry Christmas’
The other night at a restaurant our server slipped out the taboo phrase “Merry Christmas” and then almost apologized. I thanked him and he thanked me for being so happy over his greeting… he admitted that he’s really nervous saying “Merry Christmas” because he might offend someone and lose his job. If you have noticed this new uncomfortable trend where people fear saying Merry Christmas you should know that recently the famous Jewish actor, Ben Stein, told FOX that it’s perfectly fine to say Merry Christmas.
In an overly sensitive and politically correct society, it is nice when people use their platform to speak with common sense. Ben Stein does not mind when people refer to beautiful green trees as Christmas trees. He said on Fox News that it’s Christmas NOT happy holidays it’s Christmas and there is nothing to be ashamed about.
He said ‘I am a Jew all of my relatives are Jews going back to the time of Moses, I don’t mind when people say Merry Christmas.’ Three cheers for Mr Stein. He is right on the money with this one!
