The perfect threatening note a father left for his messy teens

messy teensA dad fed up with his teenagers leaving their dirty dishes in the sink finally figured out how to motivate them to clean up after themselves. He left a clever note warning them that their Internet access would be cut.

According to Mashable,

“My teenagers refuse to put their dishes in the dishwasher. So I put this above the sink,” Redditor labuzan wrote in his headline submission to r/funny last week.

The note includes a photo of Liam Neeson’s character Bryan in the movie Taken and riffs off a meme called “I Will Find You And I Will Kill You.” But instead of threatening their lives, the dad takes it a step further and warns that he’ll take away their beloved Wi-Fi and data plans.

In the Reddit comments, labuzan clarifies that his kids are good and do well in school. They’re just messy.

We all know that cutting teenagers off from the Internet is a powerful threat. But if you don’t do it right, they may react horribly. This father understood that, and used humor to successfully accomplish the warning. Parents, feel free to rip off his letter.
