Learning of Ken McHugh’s grief over the prospect of not being able to walk his children down the aisle, CMMD helped him check that off his bucket list. On October 3, with CMMD’s assistance, the family had a symbolic church ceremony, one they called a “family wedding.” During the ceremony, the father of four walked each of his children down the aisle. His daughters range in age from 19 to 14; Ken and his wife also have one son, Dylan, who is 17-years-old.

“He walked them [the kids] down the aisle and read them a summary of letters he wrote to each of them — talking about how they came into this world, reflecting on their persona and character and what he sees for them in the future,” Ken’s grateful wife remembered of the event. “Even though he won’t be there, he will always be by their sides,” Mrs. McHugh said.

He got to walk his four daughters now the aisle…AND renew his own vows. I think it’s getting dusty in here…
