There’s A Major Problem With The Media’s Latest Trump Conspiracy…

The Leftist American media, which is most of it, is so desperate to find a way to get rid of Trump that basic journalism rules are being ignored in favor of getting a scoop. It is far more important to be first with a “story,” than to be factual about that story. Every day the fake news media are cooking up spin and outright lies to try to bring down Trump. And this time, they got caught.

Both NPR and Reuters, who ought to know better, published the completely false news that President Trump went to a party being thrown by Salem al-Sabah, Kuwait’s US Ambassador, at Trump International Hotel. Both NPR and Reuters either said outright or implied that this event took pace on Saturday and that since Trump was also seen there on Saturday, several well known journalists jumped on Twitter and claimed that there was a pay to play scenario happening, that Trump was taking money for political access.

Judd Legum, (pictured above) editor-in-chief and founder of the Leftist website Think Progress, and who is also the former research director for the Hillary Clinton for President campaign, tweeted out “The message is clear to foreign governments. Hold your lavish events at my hotel and I might stop by.” Then more “journalists” spread his lies all over Twitter.

He had to take it down based on the fact it was a complete lie. Not much of a research director, is he?

New York Times Reporter Sopan Deb retweeted ProPublica’s false tweet. See below.

Wait, what? Say it isn’t so! A former Clinton staffer putting lies about Trump out there? Failing to do even the most basic fact checking; the timetable of events and which event took place on which day? That’s right, the party was on WEDNESDAY, not Saturday. Trump was NOT there. And NPR, Reuters and Legum, among many other fake news outlets, got caught up in spreading the lies. Oops. But don’t worry guys, we don’t expect truth from you anyway.

Hey Legum, pay to play is Hillary’s thing, not Trump’s. Next time, maybe actually do some of that research you apparently do well enough to be paid by Hillary. It can’t be that hard to track down the date of a big fancy party, can it?
