The Today Show did their part in perpetuating the myth that Michael Brown was an innocent teenager instead of a common thief and drug user.

Here’s a rundown some of the questions savannah Guthrie asked:

What has the last 36 hrs been like for you?

Do you feel now justice has been lost to you”?

What do you hope happens now?

Do you want pursue this in Federal court?

What do you have to say about your husband stirring the crowd?

You don’t feel that made a bad situation more volatile?

Mr. Brown did you watch Darren Wilson interview?

What do you feel about Officer Wilson description of your Son?

At was at this point Michael Brown’s parents looked incredulous at Darren Wilson’s description as a Demon or The Hulk. This was their opportunity by their reaction to sell the myth that their Son was a gentle giant.

Here’s the reality: The world has seen the video of Michael Brown not only committing a crime, stealing a box of cigars, but also threatening violence and getting physical with the store owner.
