How terrible of a person do you have to be to wish someone be beheaded just because they have different views than you? No seriously, is that some sort of mental illness that needs to be medicated?
The Young Democratic Socialists at University of Georgia are in some seriously hot water after calling for Republicans to be “guillotined” on Twitter.
Charlie Kirk posted a story on Twitter about a professor who called for House Republicans to be “lined up and shot.” The Young Democratic Socialists retweeted this, calling it “outrageous” and instead proposed their own solution.
Now for the twist. The University is calling for this matter to be investigated! Not something you would expect to see in an age where rhetoric like this is encouraged on campuses dedicated to “higher education.”

John Hawkins's book 101 Things All Young Adults Should Know is filled with lessons that newly minted adults need in order to get the most out of life. Gleaned from a lifetime of trial, error, and writing it down, Hawkins provides advice everyone can benefit from in short, digestible chapters.
According to USAPoliticsToday:
This group of nitwits is actually an official student group at the University of Georgia. Officially they organize “youth to run effective campaigns that result in tangible social and political victories and that develop leaders for the socialist movement.”
“We want to build a community of friendship and support for passionate and conscientious students,” the organization’s constitution goes on to declare.
And what part of being “conscientious” is wishing for your political opponents to be beheaded, I wonder.
Unfortunately, ideas like this are becoming more commonplace in the American political realm. There used to be a time when it was frowned upon to wish such evil on others. Now it seems that in order to be taken seriously within your movements, especially the more radical ones, you need to espouse this kind of rhetoric. It’s the only way to prove that you’re truly dedicated to your cause.
This attitude, this level of hostility, it’s simply not sustainable. Eventually, it’s going to come to a head and violence will begin spilling over into the streets. While some wish for this, there is an even larger population that doesn’t wish to see death and despair in our own country.
We need to be better than this.
