University Feminists RAGE: Drinking Responsibly Is Sexism…Or Something

Once again, feminists seem to be missing the point. Yet another pointless rant, this time against Stanford for trying to be proactive in helping women on campus be smart and protect themselves when it comes to alcohol consumption. Sorry ladies, but women really cannot process alcohol the way men do. They are smaller and have less muscle mass, both of which are factors in alcohol metabolism. No, women cannot ‘drink like a man’, no matter how much feminists might want it to be true. Read on for details of the latest feminist foolishness.

From Louder with Crowder:

So, Stanford’s created a web-page warning incoming female freshman about the dangers of binge drinking. You know, like a responsible college would do. A nontroversy if we’ve ever seen one, right?

Skunked again! Instead, feminists decided to rage. Well, one does. Yes, they had the website taken down because something something rape culture and yargle blargle sexism!

The website, called “Female Bodies and Alcohol,” was part of a new effort by Stanford to address what feminists call the “rampant” sexual violence on campus. The effort included banning large containers of booze, and what administrators thought was a helpful treatise on the effects of large quantities of alcohol on the human body.

According to the site, which is now only available in screenshots, women need to be more careful than men when consuming alcohol. “A woman will get drunk faster than a man consuming the same amount of alcohol,” the website said. “Optimize the positive effects of alcohol and avoid negative consequences.”

The site also warned women that appearing drunk might make them easier targets for sexual predators: “Research tells us that women who are seen drinking alcohol are perceived to be more sexually available than they may actually be,” it read. “Individuals who are even a little intoxicated are more likely to be victimized than those who are not drinking.”

The most dangerous part in all of this? There are some people who have decided that encouraging women to be safe and take precautions is “sexist”. Guess what that does? Ironically, it makes women far less safe.

Suggesting girls not binge drink? Sexist.

Suggesting you not go out alone, or use the buddy system? Sexist.

Suggesting some college boys can hold their alcohol better because science (boys have more body and muscle mass)? To the reeducation camps with you!

What’s next here? Will feminists recommend that ladies “identify as a male drinker” in order to be able to consume more in a shorter period of time? No one would be surprised. Women on campus; listen to those who advise you to be careful about what and how much you drink, not to those whose rabid identity politics is more important than your making it home safely.
