Woman files lawsuit against Chick-fil-A after finding DEAD RODENT stuffed inside the bun

This might be a little much for you to handle if you get queasy easily, but a woman from Bucks County is claiming she has suffered from physical and psychological damages because she had found in a Pennsylvania Chick-fil-A a dead rodent baked into the bun of her meal she ordered.

Ellen Manfalouti, 46, has now filed a lawsuit for the ‘damage’ caused. She explained that she was eating the chicken sandwich in the conference room at her place of work November 25, 2016, when she saw something weird in the crisp bottom bun. Manfalouti at first thought the bread had been ‘burned really bad’ before she showed it to a coworker that she had been eating lunch with.

Her horror-struck coworker, Cara Phelan, said when Manfalouti displayed the bun on the table, she ‘realized it was a small rodent of some sort’ and also said that she ‘could see the whiskers and the tail.’

Bill Davis is serving as the woman’s lawyer and said that a laboratory testing of the specimen later confirmed the sandwich bun consisted of a small mouse or rat that seemed to have been fried to a crisp.

From the Daily Mail:

In the suit, Bucks County Court cited negligence in that restaurant officials ‘failed to supervise employees who intentionally and/or knowingly served a sandwich to a customer with a dead rodent baked into the bun.’

Owner of the popular franchise, Dave Heffernan, declined to comment on the matter.

‘We’re not going to make any comment about any allegations. It’s an ongoing allegation and investigation.’

Davis said he has attempted to reach out to the franchise in hopes to find the most appropriate resolution, but has had little luck.

‘The franchise itself has never said who supplied the buns for their sandwiches. I have given them every chance in the world to talk to me about it and give their side,’ Davis told the newspaper. They just referred it to their insurance company, who in turn has not engaged in any real conversation,’ he added.

Manfalouti is now looking to make a healthy $50,000 from the Landhorne restaurant, as she had claimed that she suffered from extreme nausea and had to be hospitalized.

Yeah, okay.
