Opportunist Shapton should recues himself from the Eric Garner case or go on Hiatus from his cable show
How is it possible for Al Shapton to be both subject and observer in the Eric Garner case while simultaneously hosting his own cable show on MSNBC? It is the most extreme form of a conflict of interest in the history of television.
Is Sharpton an activist seeking justice for the family of the deceased Eric Garner? Or is he a TV personality looking to pump up rating for his little watched program? The answer cannot be both because if it is NBC is breaking every ethical rule of journalism in the book.
So if Sharpton who has been known as a race-hustler, a federal informant, and a tax cheat, has any modicum of decency left in his body, he needs to make a choice to be either an activist or TV host.
Being both cannot stand!
