The Week In Review

And Oh, what a week it has been. John J. Miller at NRO summed it up nicely, but here is my take;

: The Democrats lost Ted Kennedy’s: seat to a: rising Republican rock star, Scott Brown. The next day Pelosi says she doesn’t have the votes for Obamacare, which we all thought was about to be shoved down our throats. Relief doesn’t even begin to describe it.

And if: that wasn’t sweet enough, The Supreme Court tore a gaping hole into McCain-Feingold, a victory in free speech that we have endured for: almost 2 decades.

Then the icing on the cake. : Air America declared bankruptcy and ceased being on the airwaves yesterday. It seemed the American people really didn’t want to listen to liberal bitter hateful rants all day.:  Hard to believe, huh?

Last, but certainly not least,: today was the day that we were going to close Gitmo:

Sec.: 3.: Closure of Detention Facilities at Guantánamo.: The detention facilities at Guantánamo for individuals covered: by this order shall be closed as soon as practicable, and no later than 1: year from the date of this order. …

BARACK OBAMA
THE WHITE HOUSE,
: : :  January 22, 2009.

Not even close.:

For freedom loving, terrorist fighting, truth spreading, free speech activist conservatives…it’s been a:  very good week indeed.

Now, I’m taking my 2nd Amendment rights to a gun range this afternoon with some blogger buddies: and Gov. Perry of Texas and we are going: celebrate this light shining through the clouds of liberal darkness.

You guys have a great weekend too!
