American Muslim on Trial for Child Rape Thinks He Deserves $2 Million Dollars
There’s got to be something in the Koran that condemns murder and child rape. Or, at the very least, abusive lawsuits. Convicted killer and practicing Muslim Eddie A. Gordon is suing because his “rights were violated” by unsatisfactory meals during Ramadan.
The lawsuit petition contends Gordon at one point wasn’t fed for 28 hours during the season of Ramadan, when Muslims for 30 days fast from dawn until after sunset. The petition added that when Gordon was fed, his Ramadan meals were cold and unbearable to eat.
Gordon was convicted of second-degree murder in the 2010 slaying of Vincent G. Lambert, and was sentenced to 23 years in prison. He is now awaiting trial on charges of rape of a child younger than 14 years old and attempted aggravated criminal sodomy to a child younger than 14.
How many times do we have to reiterate that prisons aren’t supposed to resemble Bed & Breakfasts? Prisons aren’t pleasant. That’s sort of the point of sending rapists and murderers to prisons.
