An Important Question For The 2004 Election?
I’m sure that some people would tell you that this bumper sticker I found on Free Republic isn’t fair to John Kerry….
I disagree. George Bush understands that we’re fighting a war on terrorism, is willing to go after terrorist groups of global reach and the nations that support them, and is Reaganesque in his determination to build up our military.
On the other hand, John Kerry thinks fighting terrorism is a law enforcement matter, is apparently not willing to go after terrorist groups of global reach and the nations that support them unless the whole world is on board with us (which isn’t going to happen), and has frequently tried to weaken our military and intelligence services throughout his tenure in the Senate.
In short, George W. Bush is dead serious about fighting the war on terrorism and John F. Kerry is not. When the price of taking terrorism lightly could be another 9/11 or much, much, worse, which candidate would you rather have in office?
