Conservative talk radio weekly recap: Feb 15-19

My new Talk Radio Watch column is now up at WND.

Enjoy FREE audio and webcam highlights from this week in conservative talk radio: Rush, Beck, Levin and many more — including the many endorsements J.D. Hayworth is getting from his fellow broadcasters.

Here’s what came in after deadline:

USA Weekend (whatever that is) offers up “10 Things You Don’t Know About Glenn Beck” — which most RWN readers will find old hat. Except maybe the global warming thing. Hmmm…

A few dozen Beck fans protested outside 590AM/Albany after a format change took their favorite host off the air.

On Don Imus’s show, Mark Levin called Obama the “biggest disaster in modern American history” (video).

Rush Limbaugh: is there nothing he can’t do…?

Speaking of Rush, Dennis Miller tweets: “When Rush Limbaugh’s voice is excited it reminds me of Yukon Cornelius’s voice in the stop-action classic ‘Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer'”

San Francisco’s loony left denizens are now getting something extra with their soy lattes fueled morning commutes:

West Coast media personality Brian Sussman is the new morning host at KSFO-AM San Francisco. KSFO moved the former television meteorologist from his popular evening show Right Thinking from the Left Coast–a steady source of irritation to lefty Bay Area listeners, to the vaulted [me: I think they mean “vaunted”] morning slot.

After hosting Monday mornings there for the past seven years, he was already a familiar voice to its listening audience of 500,000. Sussman called the promotion, “a dream come true.”

“The global warming scam, government tyranny, fiscal insanity,” said Sussman, “and having four hours daily on one of America’s most successful radio stations to expose these shenanigans is going to give Left a major headache.”
