She’s the one who’s ultimately going to fall on her sword, I believe. Her Sunday appearances were simply too poor a reflection on Obama. And Obama’s rhetoric has been too harsh for everyone to survive.

It isn’t as if she has that much pertinent experience, she was a manager and a political hack, at best. She’ll no doubt get some other plumb somehow in the deal. Her going will be as corrupted by politics as was her coming.

All of Obama’s decisions seem political. This one won’t be much different. But I doubt he’ll do it until he’s back in DC so he can milk it, well after they put the fine points on whatever it’ll take to get her to go without a fuss.
