Game show host Chuck Woolery stumps for Tea Party’s Chris McDaniel
Chuck is a strong conservative voice. Always like him since before Love Connection.
For the final weekend of campaigning before Tuesday’s GOP runoff in Mississippi, both Sen. Thad Cochran and Tea Party rival Chris McDaniel are bringing out the celebrities reports USA TODAY.
Cochran has the support of NFL quarterback Brett Favre (a Mississippi native) in a TV ad sponsored by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. He campaigns Sunday with Sen. John McCain, the 2008 GOP presidential nominee.
McDaniel will be on the stump this weekend with game show host Chuck Woolery and syndicated radio host Lars Larson.
Woolery, host of The Dating Game and Love Connection, is the headliner on a Tea Party Express bus tour of Mississippi that begins Friday night in McDaniel’s hometown of Laurel. The tour will then stop in Tupelo and Pearl (a suburb of Jackson) on Saturday before concluding in Biloxi on Monday.
