Jesse Jackson Stands Up for Peripheral Components Rights By Scoop Ladleton
Los Angeles officials have asked that computer manufacturers, suppliers and contractors to stop using the terms “master” and “slave” on computer equipment, saying such terms are unacceptable and offensive.
The request which has some suppliers furious and others busy re-labeling components came after an unidentified worker spotted a videotape machine carrying devices labeled “master” and “slave” and filed a discrimination complaint with the county’s Office of Affirmative Action Compliance.
The Reverend Jessie Jackson has been heading up this resistance movement demanding that all peripheral components be set free. He was heard saying that in today’s society it is an abomination that that slavery continues and until we correct this shameful discrimination toaster or telephones could be next.
Jackson is also seeking reparation in the amount of 1.3 billion dollars from firms like IBM, Dell and Apple stating that enslaved hard drives were forced to work against their will and are entitled to American rights and monitory damages for their brutal working conditions.
Jackson swore he would not rest until all peripheral components had equal rights.
