Judge Lashes Out at Convicted Killer: “I Hope You Die”

Can Michigan judge John McBain get his own show, a la Judge Judy? This guy is awesome! After convicted killer Camia Gamet snickered in court, McBain tore into her, saying “I hope you die” and threatening to duct-tape her mouth shut.

It was more than deserved, inasmuch as the killer interrupted emotional testimony from the victim’s relatives.

McBain said in court it was ‘one of the worst cold-blooded murders he’s ever seen.’…After Gamet rolled her eyes, snickered and then interrupted Hill’s aunt, the judge lost it.

‘I agree with the family. I hope you die in prison. If this was a death penalty state, you’d be getting the chair,’ he finished off…The courtroom applauded when McBain issued his sentence, MLive.com reported.

The courtroom might have applauded, but there will surely be people out there who take issue with McBain’s outburst, who consider it highly inappropriate and unprofessional. I’m sure at least one person will accuse McBain of “racism,” and clutch their pearls at his supportive references to the death penalty, since Michigan is too enlightened for such barbarism.

To hell with that. McBain wasn’t afraid to speak the truth: remorseless killers don’t deserve to exist in our society.:  As the victim’s cousin said, “God is good. We all got what we wanted.”
