Liberals: The Real Race Peddlers
I am a republican. I don’t like black people.
At least, this is what liberals believe about the GOP. Our views of the president and Eric Holder have nothing to do with policy. They have nothing to do with mind-boggling legislation that damages middle-class workers and endangers job creation. No, the Left really and truly believes that the GOP wants to fight a race war with the black community. Even the members of the GOP who happen to, like myself, be black.
The harpies of the Left have been playing the race-card game for as long as I remember, but most notably when it benefits Obama and his big government aspirations. Whenever anyone discusses the botched ‘gun-walking’ operation known as Fast and Furious that led to the shooting death of Border Patrol agent Brian Terry, and entertains the idea of firing Attorney General Eric Holder for his involvement and lack of disclosure on the case, the Left doesn’t consider the fact that sending guns to Mexican cartels is a terrible idea. Our anger, they say, all stems from our extreme distrust of an African-American in power. Chris Matthews echoes this sentiment when asking a question to San Fransisco Mayor Willie Brown:
“I don’t want to start too much as far as fire here but it is my instinct,” Matthews said. “Is this ethnic, Mr. Mayor?”
This is a poisonous way of thinking. But this is not embarrassing for those on the Right, because for every one instance of supposed racism by conservatives, you can find five situations where the Left shows just how hypocritical they are on the issue of race. This is where the Left’s favorite hypocrite, Bill Maher, shines. Here, in a blog post discussing Allen West, Maher manages to make himself appear a bigger fraud than ever before:
But this is why you never see us booking George Will and Peggy Noonan on my show (besides the fact that they wouldn’t do it): Because the same old Washington pundits haven’t said anything interesting since disco. Also because the idea that the blame for our government’s dysfunction is equally shared by the parties just is a giant, steaming mound of horseshit and anyone who has paid attention to politics over the last 20 years knows it. Or as I like to call it, “The Rise of the Party of the Apes.”
Of course, Maher and his team pale in comparison to Race-Baiter-in-Chief and professional charlatan Al Sharpton, who wouldn’t have a career if it weren’t for his penchant for vile, incendiary, racially-fueled commentary. Michelle Malkin recently highlighted one of his many accomplishments when it comes to the ‘blame the white man’ mentality:
I’m not saying that this is because Holder is black, and I’m not calling (Republicans) racists. I’m saying what they’re doing has a racial effect.
So you actually: are calling Republicans racist then, right? The Left is famous for the old adage ” what I said was taken out of context”. How hard is it to decipher what a liberal really means when they say something like “if the Jews want to get it on, tell them to pin their yarmulkes back and come to my house” ( another gem from the mouth of Sharpton). This is just one of many slights: committed against someone outside of the black community by Sharpton. He has a history of: insulting Jews, gays, Mormons, and anyone else that: perscribes to views that differ from his racial: agenda. And what does the liberal Left: do to such a man, who is guilty of perpetrating the same crimes their side pretends to be offended over? They give him a show on MSNBC.
: Liberals are quick to criticize anyone who uses the term ‘colored’ when referencing non-white citizens. The NAACP has been outspoken on this topic. Again, the hypocrisy rears its head, because for one to be offended by a word, that word should most certainly not be a part of the letterhead for the company. This is why I want to see organizations like the NAACP and: the Congressional Black Caucus dissolved, being replaced by groups that focus more on making the American communities better, not just themselves, or the community of any one specific group of people. Liberals want to address the issues, so they are doing it the way they do it best: blaming everyone else for their mistakes, and never being held accountable for their actions. Truly, they are products of the Obama Administration.
I am a 29 year old African-American conservative. I strive to live for something greater than myself.
