Los Angeles ACORNista Eager to Assist Child Prostitution Business
Written By : Dave Blount

James O’Keefe on the latest ACORN video released by himself and Hannah Giles:

Lavelle Stewart, of ACORN in South Central Los Angeles, tells us she thinks we have to hook up with “someone who’s on that international sex business level,” that “14 and 15 year olds been traveling overseas for years,” that she can do independent research for us, and that she has had meetings with Porn magnate Larry Flynt. As for laundering the sex money into my faux political campaign, Lavelle says, “there are ways, people do it all the time. Yeah there are ways, especially out here in California.”

With only one exception so far, Chairman Zero’s ACORNista friends are always willing to help anyone they think crawls around in the sewer. No wonder the Moonbat Messiah would like to have his extensive ties to them scrubbed.

Don’t miss earlier O’Keefe/Giles ACORN gems — and hold on tight for what might go public if Eric Holder still won’t investigate his fellow cockroaches. Andrew Breitbart explains:

Not only are there more tapes, it’s not just ACORN. And this message is to Attorney General Holder: I want you to know that we have more tapes, it’s not just ACORN, and we’re going to hold out until the next election cycle, or else if you want to do a clean investigation, we will give you the rest of what we have, we will comply with you, we will give you the documentation we have from countless ACORN whistleblowers who want to come forward but are fearful of this organization and the retribution that they fear that this is a dangerous organization. So if you get into an investigation, we will give you the tapes; if you don’t give us the tapes, we will revisit these tapes come election time.

We’ll see what the chances are of getting a “clean investigation” out of the same Injustice Department that scuttled the prosecution of Black Panther thugs who intimidated voters during last November’s catastrophe.

I expressed the opinion when the first tapes exposing ACORN were released that there were lots more tapes just waiting to be released. Now Breitbart has somewhat confirmed what I suspected all along – this is a well-funded and well-conceived activist campaign which is using Alinsky’s rules against those who have used them for years to get what they want.

While I applaud the takedown of ACORN, sadly, I have to say that having both sides using the same playbook to rip each other to shreds really isn’t a net gain for our society. To me, it just hastens the ultimate demise to which we’re heading as a nation under the ‘guidance’ of political activism.

Breitbart says that ACORN aren’t the only ones involved in this, more is to come. My bet? SEIU.

I do not subscribe to the school of thought that American political process and discourse has declined in civility and underhandedness. American politics has always, even at the very beginning, been utterly ruthless and cutthroat. In a lot of ways it used to be worse. We used to form mobs and start killing each other over politics. Our politicians used to get into duals and beat each other over politics. We fought a civil war over politics. Using sex scandal as blackmail in politics is lightweight and old hat to this country’s political culture. Alinsky didn’t invent any of these tactics, he just described them in his book.

    Sab:

I’m not saying anything about a decline in civility – that’s a subject for another discussion, I think. My point above was that I don’t find it uplifting at all that we seem to be sinking to the lowest common level, namely activism. Rather than striving to conduct our business and thrash out our differences in more productive ways, we seem to want to become a nation of marchers, protesters, sit-in specialists and civil disobedients.

Activism can be an effective means of getting things done, but most often it’s very short-sighted – it only serves a small part of the population, and often at the expence of the greater population and at the expence of honouring the processes of our way of self-governance.

I’m all for having people politically active and involved, but when activist groups like ACORN take the initiative to essentially blackmail and coerce organizations like banks and colleges and other groups into taking certain actions, I don’t think that our society in general benefits. In fact I think that leads to faster fragmentation of our social order. In this article, Mr. Breitbart sounds suspiciously close to doing the same in his comments directed to Mr. Holder – investigate or else.
