My husband points out that he would never compare Obama to Hitler. Hitler was an effective leader, and Hitler had an actual plan he enacted and stuck to rather than a simply rhetorical one to be trotted out and alluded to when he needed to look like he had his game together. We can't say the same for Obama thus far.

The real point is that the ones comparing Obama to Hitler are the left. They try to pass themselves off in the protests and hold the Obama Hitler signs and wear the Nazi uniforms.

Of course, the strange thing is that Obama's ideas are far closer to Hitler's than most Americans, particularly conservatives. If you do a side-by-side comparison, American liberals match the Nazis on seventeen of the twenty-five points of Nazism, where American Conservatives match on three.

I know this because I checked.
