New Hampshire Open Thread

At 9:14 EST, with 34% of the vote counted, McCain has already won on the Republican side, but shockingly Hillary is ahead of Obama by 4%[1].

Moreover, from The Campaign Spot[2],

Michael Barone: “I think there is a real possibility that Hillary Clinton could win this.”

UPDATE: Wow. From a media source: “The exit polls are being “re-weighted” and now show HRC ahead.”

Update #1: At the 61% mark, Hill is up 2.5%.

I am rooting for Barack to pull it out at the very end, thereby making the loss all the more humiliating and heart breaking for Hillary.

Update #2: The Associated Press has called it for Hillary. Wow. This is why they have elections, folks.

Update #3: Just to give you an idea of how big an upset Hillary’s win[3] is, take a look at the latest polls on RealClearPolitics.

Since 1/4/08, there have been 22 New Hampshire polls. Hillary won 1, tied 1, and lost 20. Obama was up by an average of 8.3 points and in the final polls that went through yesterday, he won by 5, 9, 13, and 7 points.

So, for Hillary to pull this thing out after all of that was practically miraculous.
