NH Democrat Wishes Palin Dead; No Apology

New Hampshire Democrat House candidate, Keith Halloran, spewed some hate speech:

Republican state Rep. D.J. Bettencourt said Democrat Keith Halloran of Rindge was responding to Bettencourt’s post Tuesday about the plane crash that killed former Alaska Sen. Ted Stevens. Bettencourt said Halloran wrote: “Just wish Sarah and Levy were on board,” an apparent reference to the former Alaska governor and her daughter’s ex-boyfriend, Levi Johnston.

Halloran wouldn’t confirm he wrote the message. In a message sent to The Associated Press through Facebook he said, “It’s just a tempest in their Tea Pot.” emphasis mine

Meanwhile Politico’s Ben Smith also has the story and screenshot.

Nice example to the children, Halloran, you exhibit such tolerance. Exit question to those hate-filled, venomous Democrats–those screenshots are a b*tch, aren’t they?

Man up and apologize. I mean, seriously, does any Democrat know how to take responsibility for anything they do?

I'm going to take a departure from some of the opinions posted here.
There is nothing wrong with wishing someone dead and at times it's quite appropriate. But the target has to be deserving. For instance, there is nothing wrong with wishing for the death of a convicted murderer or someone who has commited some awful crime against humanity. For example who here does wish Osama bin Ladin or Robert Mugabe were dead? (ok, bin Ladin is probably already dead, but you get my point)

But to wish a political opponent dead, simply because you disagreed with their politics is wrong and in my opinion, sick. I despise mr. Obama and would love to see his term ended early. But I don't wish any harm upon him.

And yes, although you see examples of this on both side, it seems far more common amongst the sputtering, hateful moonbat crowd.

Finally, it's telling that even the troll leftists are not here trying to defend this one or spin it.
