“Oprah deliberately set out to destroy my life,” says stepmom
Apparently, Oprah’s well-known generosity doesn’t extend to her own family members. Her stepmother, Barbara Winfrey, says Oprah wrecked her marriage and booted her from her home.
Oprah allegedly refused to give her stepmother a dime of her vast fortune.
In an exclusive interview with MailOnline an emotional Barbara said: ‘That woman has set out to ruin me, destroy me.
To take this house away is petty, this has been my home for 14 years.

‘Oprah’s a billionaire three times over, her help live better than this. She said publicly that she offered to sell the house and give me the proceeds, but that’s a lie, she never said that.
..‘Oprah owns property all over the world so there is no reason to sell this house other than to spite me, it’s a personal vendetta.’

Is it true? We can’t say at this point. There’s no doubt that someone like Oprah is an attractive target for people who think they’re owed a paycheck just because they’re somehow related to her. But since Oprah has gotten more and more self-righteous–and liberal–over the years, I wouldn’t be shocked. This behavior is typical of grossly self-absorbed celebrities.
