PETA Protests Violations of Animal Privacy
PETA Protests Violations of Animal Privacy By Shamus Young: Animal-rights group PETA has come forward to speak out against the widespread violations of animal privacy by their owners. Said PETA spokesman Alec Baldwin, “These people are taking pictures of the animals they live with and posting them on the internet. How would a person feel if their roommate took pictures of them and put them on the ‘net without permission. This is an incredible injustice.”
Cats are the greatest victims of the practice, with millions worldwide sharing pictures of their feline friends on their webpages without the consent of the animal. Added Baldwin, “Cats are very private animals. If they want to share pictures of themselves, then let them make their own webpage.”
