Planned Parenthood produces video for teens hyping BDSM

You know, I wish I could say a headline like this shocks me, but it just doesn’t anymore. Planned Parenthood is apparently selling teens on the merits of BDSM in a new video.

The video states, as an objective fact, that BDSM “creates trust.”

Planned Parenthood of Northern New England (PPNNE)—which received more than $2.75 million in government funding in 2012—has produced and posted online a video specifically aimed at teenagers that promotes bondage and sadomasochism (BDSM) and proposes “rules” to follow when engaging in these activities.

“People sometimes think that those who practice BDSM are emotionally scarred or were once abused–not true, it’s a total myth,” the host of the video, Laci Green, informs its intended audience of teens.

How does she know it’s a “total myth” that there’s a link between the two? She doesn’t cite any sources. It seems like Planned Parenthood isn’t interested in mere “sex education,” but in promoting certain sexual interests and fetishes as unquestionably fun and healthy, even for teens. That’s not “education.” And they’re using your tax dollars to do it.
