“Powers That Be” Squash Investigation Into ACORN
Written By : Van Helsing

What a surprise:

House Judiciary Committee Chairman John Conyers Jr. has backed off his plan to investigate wrongdoing by the liberal activist group ACORN, saying “powers that be” put the kibosh on the idea.

Mr. Conyers, Michigan Democrat, earlier bucked his party leaders by calling for hearings on accusations the Association of Community Organization for Reform Now (ACORN) has committed crimes ranging from voter fraud to a mob-style “protection” racket.

Evidently “powers that be” is a reference to Chairman Zero, who worked with ACORN to coerce banks into giving race-based mortgages (thus helping bring about the financial crisis), and who plans to use the ACORN thugs he personally trained to create phony numbers for the 2010 Census, which will result in more Congressional seats for Democrats, and more taxpayer $billions showered upon BHO’s Dumpster-dwelling base. The word “corrupt” doesn’t even begin to describe the Obamination regime.

Too bad for Conyers he can’t kill investigations into the behavior of his wife Monica, Detroit City Council President Pro Tem, who has pled guilty to felony bribery. But compared to what’s going on in the District of Criminals, the Conyers’ malfeasance is hardly worth mentioning.
