What To Watch For In Florida
Written By : John Hawkins

On the Democratic side, Hillary Clinton should easily beat Barack Obama in Florida although it’s not supposed to matter because the Democratic Party has taken away the Sunshine State’s delegates. The scary thing for Obama would be if this somehow went to the convention and Hillary somehow managed to convince the Democratic Party to count Michigan and Florida’s delegates anyway.

On the Republican side, it is too close to call between Mitt Romney and John McCain, who are both duking it out for the top spot.

Then, far back from those two, Rudy and Mike Huckabee are fighting it out for a very distant 3rd place.

With that in mind, here’s the….

Dream scenario for John McCain: McCain stokes his momentum for Super Tuesday by defeating Romney, Giuliani drops out (and his supporters start moving over to McCain), and Huckabee stays in (to drain off Southern conservatives from Mitt on Super Tuesday).

Dream scenario for Mitt Romney: Mitt stokes his momentum for Super Tuesday by defeating McCain and both Huckabee and Giuliani drop out, which turns Super Tuesday into a mano-a-mano battle between Romney and McCain for the nomination.
