UN Racism Committee Issues “Early Warning” Of A Civil Conflict In America

Why do we still have the United Nations? They’ve devolved to passing out a reprimand to the entire nation of America because of a few idiots in Charlottesville.

Yahoo News reports:

A UN committee tasked with combatting racism has issued a formal “early warning” over conditions in the United States, a rare move often used to signal the potential of a looming civil conflict.

Oh, an early warning. Isn’t that what you tell children? Stop fighting or I’ll take away your Xbox?

The United Nations Committee on the Elimination of Racial Discrimination said it had invoked its “early warning and urgent action procedure” because of the proliferation of racist demonstrations in the US.

With every part of the entire world finally in peace, the United Nations now has time and resources to devote to racism.

It specifically noted the unrest in Charlottesville, Virginia, in which a woman was killed after an avowed white supremacist ploughed his car into a group of anti-racism counterprotestors.

They were Antifa, not “anti-racist” protesters. But since you’re not even mentioning the name of the poor woman who was killed, I don’t think they care much about accuracy.

The racism committee, part of the UN human rights office, can issue a formal early warning to help prevent “existing problems from escalating into conflict” or to “prevent a resumption of conflict where it has previously occurred”, according to the rights office website.

How much do you think they get paid to give out early warnings from the racism committee?

This is just another reason for the elites at the UN and other organizations to blame Trump for everything that could possibly go wrong. The only other countries to receive this warning in the past ten years have been Burundi, Iraq, The Ivory Coast, Kyrghystan, Nigeria and Suriname. Before that, they were throwing these reprimands at Israel.

We can all agree that this is a meaningless, virtue-signalling warning, right? Right.
